摘要(Abstract)：

介绍了第五届加里宁国际化纤会议的概况,重点对苏联化纤工业和科技发展,特别是特种化纤的发展进行了综述。文章还报导了苏联主要纺织化纤科研院所的近况和与会各国化纤专家对世界化纤工业发展的预测。最后笔者谈及了参加本次会议的体会,并对加强与苏联在化纤方面的协作提出了几点建议。
The general situation of The 5th Kalinin International Man.Made Fiber Conference in U.S.S.R is introduced with emphasis on the development in industry, science and technology, particularly to the high performance fibers. The predictions for the developments of world man-made fiber industry by specialists of different countries and the current condition of main science and research institutes of textile and man-made fiber in U.S.S.R are also reported, the author as the head of delegation describes what she has learned from this conference and suggests that the Corperation in man-mids fiber beween China and U.S.S.R should be enhanced.
